In this article we talk about Koh Adang, the little-known and paradisiacal neighbouring island of Koh Lipe, Thailand. Koh Adang is part of Tarutao National Marine Park in South-western Thailand, close to the Malaysian border and a 10-minute long tail ride from the famous island of Koh Lipe.
There’s only 1 resort located at Koh Adang, which is Adang Island Resort , which is located privately with their own private beach. Staying at Adang Island Resort The Adang Island Resort is a 3-star hotel located on the beachfront in the south of the island.
The hotel has an outdoor pool, restaurant and bar. You don’t need anything else to enjoy the island. We stay at A – Beachfront Villa, which is located right at the beach. The rooms have a TV, free WiFi and air conditioning. They also offer all their guests, Kayaks and snorkeling equipment for free.
A la carte breakfast is included in all reservations, it is very varied and delicious.The menu of the restaurant is very varied and all the dishes are delicious, they are somewhat more expensive than in Koh Lipe, but they are much larger and can be shared. The smoothies are delicious, we recommend the strawberry one, we loved it. Beers are cheap.
We stayed for 2 nights and it was a success, the facilities are just fantastic and the staff is great. If you travel to this area of Thailand and you can spend a couple of days in this paradise, do not hesitate to stay at the Adang Island Resort.
There’re several activities you can enjoy DIY such as kayaking , jungle trekking and snorkelling. They are great to make you sweat !!. The Chado Cliff viewpoint, actually there are three viewpoints at different heights, the last one is in one of the highest points of Koh Adang and is the one that offers the best views.
The sunset here at Adang Island Resort is spectecular. But the best thing of all is to be able to enjoy them as a couple and without more people, it’s a super romantic island !!.
